The short version
- No paid placements. No tool vendor has paid us to publish, edit, or alter any review on this site.
- No sponsored content. We don't run sponsored posts, "advertorial" reviews, or undisclosed brand deals.
- No compensation for ratings. Our scores are not influenced by anything except our hands-on testing.
- One referral link, disclosed. The "TRY RUNPOD" button on our GPU calculator uses a RunPod referral code (
?ref=7n60davc). If you sign up through that link, RunPod credits our account a small referral bonus. It does not influence what we write about RunPod or any competing GPU host.
How we test what we review
Every tool on the reviews page has been used by us in real client work or in our own studio operations. We pay for our own accounts with our own money on the same plans available to any customer. We don't accept free seats, extended trials, or special pricing from vendors in exchange for coverage.
Our editorial process
- We pick what to review based on what we're actually using or evaluating in client work — not what vendors pitch us.
- We test the tool on real workloads, usually for at least a few weeks.
- We write the review, including the parts vendors won't like (rate limits, pricing surprises, gaps in the product).
- We publish. We don't share drafts with the vendor for approval.
- If a vendor disputes a fact, we'll correct it if they're right. We don't change opinions.
Vendor relationships we have
For full transparency, here's the complete list of relationships we hold with any tool covered on this site:
- RunPod — we have a referral code (
7n60davc) used on the "TRY RUNPOD" button in the GPU calculator. RunPod credits our account if a signup completes through that link. The credit applies to our own GPU usage; we don't receive cash. This relationship was disclosed when this page was first published. - Everything else. No referral links, no affiliate IDs, no commission structures, no co-marketing deals, no paid speaking, no advisory equity, no sponsored events.
If we ever add a new affiliate or referral relationship, we'll list it here within 7 days of activating the link. The list above is the canonical source — if a link on the site has tracking parameters that aren't disclosed here, treat it as a mistake and email us so we can fix it.
What our paid services cost — and don't influence
We make our money from consulting and build engagements, not from this site. Clients pay us to scope, build, and ship AI systems. Those clients sometimes use tools we've reviewed; sometimes they use tools we haven't. The reviews are not pitch decks for our services — they're our opinions on the tools.
