1. The deal
Pintoed AI ("we," "us," "our") operates the website at pintoedai.com. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use the site — that's the whole enforcement mechanism.
2. What's on the site
The site contains:
- Reviews of AI and SaaS tools. These are our hands-on opinions based on real usage. Pricing data is sourced from the vendor and dated. Ratings are subjective.
- Calculators for cost modelling (LLM spend, GPU cost, ROI, etc.). Inputs are yours; outputs are estimates based on the rates we've published.
- Field Notes (blog) and case studies describing client work, with client permission where applicable.
- Service descriptions for our consulting and build engagements.
3. Reviews are opinions
Every review on this site is an opinion. We test what we test, we pick what we pick, and we publish what we publish. We don't claim our ratings are objective — they're a judgement call from operators who've shipped real systems with these tools. Use them as one input, not gospel.
We try hard to keep pricing accurate but the AI tooling market moves fast. Always verify pricing on the vendor's own site before committing budget.
4. Calculators are estimates
Cost calculators are educational tools. They use the rates we've verified at the time of publication. Real costs depend on your actual usage patterns, contract terms, and any custom pricing you've negotiated. Don't use a calculator output as a financial commitment — confirm with the vendor and your finance team.
5. Intellectual property
Content on this site (writing, design, calculator logic) is © Pintoed AI unless otherwise noted. You're welcome to:
- Read, share, and link to anything on the site.
- Quote excerpts with attribution.
- Print or export pages for personal use.
You're not welcome to:
- Republish full articles or reviews on other sites without permission.
- Train commercial AI models on the content without written permission.
- Scrape the site at volumes that disrupt service for other users.
Tool names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners — we mention them under fair use for review purposes.
6. Use of the site
Don't do anything that would be obviously rude or illegal: attempting to break security, scraping aggressively, sending malicious form submissions, impersonating others, or using the site to harass anyone. Standard internet citizenship.
7. Engagements are separate
The reviews, calculators, and content on this site are free for anyone to use. Our paid services (consulting, builds) are governed by separate written agreements signed at the start of each engagement. Nothing on this site is a binding offer to perform work — that happens via a signed scope of work.
8. No warranties
The site is provided as-is. We don't warrant that the content is complete, current, or error-free. We try, but software pricing changes, model versions deprecate, and the AI market moves faster than any review site can track in real time. If you spot a mistake, email us — we'll fix it.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Pintoed AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or the content on it. If you make a business decision based on something you read here and it doesn't work out, that's on you. Independent verification is your job, not ours.
10. Third-party sites
We link to vendor sites, articles, and external resources. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies — we have no control over them and aren't responsible for them.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced with a fresh effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be handled in California courts. (If you're an international visitor, this is just where the legal venue is — it doesn't restrict your ability to read the site.)
